Magali Pascal | Brand Crush | Boho Festival Fashion Outfit
I had planned to have a post on internal and external new year's resolutions go live this week, but tech issues have gotten the best of me there again (big surprise). So, with the Coachella line up having finally gone live yesterday, I thought now would be the perfect time to share this look since I definitely plan to wear this dress in Palm Springs!
By now, you should know how much I love discovering brands and beautiful clothing from all over the world. Living in the Midwest doesn't mean you can't broaden your horizons, thanks to the Internet. My first love for online shopping abroad was Australia, and from there it was easy to find a whole new network of designers in the southern hemisphere.
Due to Aussie's affinity for all things Bali, it didn't take long for me to discover Magali Pascal. This Balinese brand instantly caught my eye when I saw an Instagram post featuring the Ivy Dress, which I am wearing above. It was one of those moments where I went immediately from Instagram to the Magali Pascal online boutique and purchased this dress with no second thoughts. I had never seen anything like it and had to have it!
Once I received the dress, I was able to make further judgement on the brand--and I wasn't disappointed. First of all, the fabric was beautiful and super high quality. The dress was truly a work of art. It was evident the cutouts and stitching were handmade. Most items from Magali Pascal have intricate cutouts or lacy details, and you can be assured they will be of the highest quality. I also love how the shapes of so many of the items are very flowing and would flatter many different body types. Many of the colors offered in the items are black and white or a subtle neutral, which makes them versatile and timeless. Finally, what I love most about the brand is the pieces combine elegant and sexy, which gives them an edge that perfectly compliments my own personal style.
Magali Pascal's ranges embody the unique combination of French and Balinese cultures. Naturally, this makes for some very unique offerings. The price point is rather high on these items. Unless you have a high budget, you aren't going to stock your entire wardrobe with their pieces. But, I can say from experience, the price is worth it for that one special piece. I have not regretted ordering the Ivy Dress for one moment--even for the six months it just sat in my closet waiting for the perfect special moment for that first wear. Below are some of my current favorites from Magali Pascal!
Are any other of my followers going to Coachella? I feel like the festival will be here before I know it! I was so excited to see the lineup released yesterday. Three of my favorite artists of all time will be playing this year--Glass Animals, Banks and Broods! Aside from the amazing bands, I hope to connect with fellow fashion bloggers at the event and get major inspiration from all the amazing festival clothing!
