New Moon
As I sift through the shifting seas that are my 20s, I have noticed a theme of emergence. Not only am I finding myself personality, but also in my fashion sense. It's always fascinated me how the clothing we choose to wear can convey so much more than a simple fashion statement. Slip on a favorite dress and instantly feel the same humid buzz of the first summer night you wore it, or throw on a leather jacket and feel a little bit edgier. As I have gotten more confident in my style, mixing in pieces that really standout in my Midwestern landscape, I have had many people ask me where I get my clothes--from friends to random people on the street. People's interest in my style is where the idea for Luna Elise began. I have a passion (or an addiction, depending how you word it!) to finding unique clothing whether from overseas online boutiques or pieces picked up during my travels (my other passion). My style is eclectic, mixing high end pieces with affordable finds, blending gypsy vibes and polished style. Whatever your own personal style, I hope my fashion posts inspire you, lead you to shop beyond just the mall, and perhaps a style all your own will emerge! Beyond clothing, I invite you to share in my 20-something adventures from travel, to love, probably too many photos of my french bulldogs and everything in between--of course, always dressed to inspire. Enjoy!
The photo credit for the professional images in this post goes to Rebecca and Josh Hofstetter of Mira Visu Photography. I've modeled for them for quite awhile now and not only are the images great, but so is the friendship. I wanted to take a moment during this first post to thank them for the images and for my amazing logo! You guys rule!
