It took me awhile to decide which look to post first on Luna Elise--there are so many outfits and brands I can't wait to introduce on this site. However, with the weather being so warm lately I knew I wanted to post a spring look. This outfit was perfect as it not only is great for spring, but also features some of my favorite Australian brands! I never would have thought of Australia when it comes to great fashion, but over the past few years that assumption has certainly been proved wrong. From beachy little rompers to elegant formal wear, Australian boutiques are a great place to look if you want to rock an outfit no one else will be wearing.
Most times, shipping prices are reasonable too!
This particular outfit features a romper from Sabo Skirt, my favorite Australian boutique. Typically, I would pair a nude romper with other earth-toned accessories, but the black waist tie on this one inspired me to go with black accents for an edgier look. This leather moto jacket by Cabin + Cove (another Australian brand) is an investment piece that every woman should own. Nothing elevates your everyday outfit like a classic black leather jacket. Throw it on over jeans and a white tee, and you're instantly transitioned from day to night. Plus, you feel more bad ass with it on too. ;)
For accessories, I layered it up with necklaces and rings to give it a gypsy style. I love layering a long necklace under my bralette to add a strappy look. Speaking of bralettes, this black lace one from Urban Outfitters is life. I wear it constantly! The booties are by Dolce Vita, and I also recommend them as a perfect staple piece for all seasons. The final accessory you can somewhat spot in the fourth picture down--my tattoo! I got it three months ago. After waiting six years, I figured it was finally time. I can't wait to show it off more with warmer weather coming up! This outfit will transfer over perfectly for the summer as well. Ditch the jacket, trade in the booties for sandals and you're sorted for the summer!
I will try to link the pieces I feature in every post. However, sometimes I will pull old pieces that have since sold out (this is especially prevalent with shops like Sabo Skirt which sometimes sell out quick and don't restock). If this is the case I will try to find comparable pieces still available. Also I will attempt to find affordable options for the higher priced items I post! For this post, the Sabo Skirt romper I'm wearing is sold out, so I linked some comparable styles below!
