Editorial fashion photography is my favorite to shoot and to look at. I love how the pictures not only showcase inspiring clothing, but also how they seem to tell a story. In this series with Mira Visu, I styled an outfit that invokes the free spirit fashionista. She is fierce, elegant, a little bit frayed at the edges, but brave. From boho fringe to luxurious Louis Vuitton, this style suggests a summer of travel and eclectic style inspired by these journeys. Sun-washed hair, tan skin and a head dizzy with memories of adventure.
The outfit's narrative was emphasized by the beautiful work of Mira Visu. Rebecca and I work so well together and we always find some amazing spots to shoot. These cacti were on the side of a random road through the parking lot, but they inspired us by how well they coordinated with my outfit. Last but not least, check out our mid-walk pics--we are finally getting the slow walk action shot down! ;P
As summer winds down, let the embers of the season inspire some fun looks before our wardrobes transition for fall.
