Although I'm a firm believer in NOT following the "no white after Labor Day" rule, there is just something perfect about wearing white in the summertime. As always, I love a monochrome look to really let the accents of the outfit pop. In this case, one of the main accents is my pastel pink hair! Believe it or not, I did this color myself as a fun experiment (secondary fun fact, I got the dye from Nicole Richie at a pop-up House of Harlow shop in LA!). The dye is by Manic Panic and I used a pastel add-in toner to get a tamed down shade--plus I washed my hair a couple times prior to the shoot to get a more subtle color. Pink is not usually my thing, but it was fun to try out for a few days until the color washed out (after 5 washes total).
Also noteworthy to this outfit: the bag and shoes. This bag is from Target and it has been my go-to ever since. It is from Dolce Vita's collaborative collection with Target--so good! I love the chain strap (in a style that doesn't snag my hair), and the built in card holders. The shoes are the not-so-practical aspect of this outfit. I've had these shoes for a couple years and have only worn them a handful of times as they are downright painful. However, I would argue that they are worth it to wear for a night out from time to time. This advice may not resound with those of you solely lodged in the house of practicality, but I believe there are some shoes that are just too good to pass up simply on comfort. File it under Elise's unpopular opinions and trade out for flats if you decide to take this all-white look for an all-day spin.
